Last summer, Alice Ogilvie’s basketball-star boyfriend Steve dumped her. Then she disappeared for five days. She's not talking, so where she went and what happened to her is the biggest mystery in Castle Cove. Or it was, at least. But now, another one of Steve’s girlfriends has vanished: Brooke Donovan, Alice’s ex–best friend. And it doesn’t look like Brooke will be coming back. . .

Enter Iris Adams, Alice’s tutor. Iris has her own reasons for wanting to disappear, though unlike Alice, she doesn’t have the money or the means. That could be changed by the hefty reward Brooke’s grandmother is offering to anyone who can share information about her granddaughter’s whereabouts. The police are convinced Steve is the culprit, but Alice isn’t so sure, and with Iris on her side, she just might be able to prove her theory.

In order to get the reward and prove Steve’s innocence, they need to figure out who killed Brooke Donovan. And luckily Alice has exactly what they need—the complete works of Agatha Christie. If there’s anyone that can teach the girls how to solve a mystery it’s the master herself. But the town of Castle Cove holds many secrets, and Alice and Iris have no idea how much danger they're about to walk into.

Short and Sweet Review

Last summer after Alice’s boyfriend Steve dumped her Alice went missing for five days and then came back and wouldn’t talk about what happened or where she went. Now Steve is dating Brooke Donovan Alice’s ex-bestfriend. On Halloween night at a party Brooke and Steve get in a fight and she goes missing. Now comes Iris, Alice’s tutor. Iris needs the money which is why she agrees to tutor Alice. When Brooke goes missing Alice decides to team up with Iris to investigate. Iris mainly agrees because the reward money for solving the case is what she needs to get her and her mother out of Castle Cove and a bad situation.

This was such a good book! I love mysteries and this was a great one! Alice and Iris don’t usually hangout in the same group but once they team up it’s like a match made in heaven. Alice’s methods to solving the crime is to take inspiration from Agatha Christie novels. Iris on the other hand has her friends that are good at, “this kind of thing.” So it’s Alice, Iris, and Iris’s friends. The girls uncover a lot during their investigation and even find themselves in some sticky situations. I loved following Alice and Iris around and seeing the things they discovered. These two may not have solved a mystery before but they did a good job here and they may have had unorthodox methods but it got them results.

This is one of my favorite books of this year! The mystery and characters were realistic and Alice and Iris both struggled with different things in life but they try their best to navigate it. The quotes from Agatha Christie novels was like the cherry on top. I hope this is a series because I would love to see these girls solve another mystery especially because they have experience now!

Milly, Aubrey, and Jonah Story are cousins, but they barely know each another, and they've never even met their grandmother. Rich and reclusive, she disinherited their parents before they were born. So when they each receive a letter inviting them to work at her island resort for the summer, they're surprised . . . and curious.

Their parents are all clear on one point--not going is not an option. This could be the opportunity to get back into Grandmother's good graces. But when the cousins arrive on the island, it's immediately clear that she has different plans for them. And the longer they stay, the more they realize how mysterious--and dark--their family's past is.

The entire Story family has secrets. Whatever pulled them apart years ago isn't over--and this summer, the cousins will learn everything.

Short and Sweet Review

Milly, Aubrey, and Jonah’s grandmother cut of their parents before the cousins were even born. The cousins don’t really know each other but when they’re invited by their grandmother to work at her island resort they’ll be spending a lot of time together and trying to get into their grandmothers good graces for the sake of their parents. But once they arrive on the island they realize something isn’t right.

We’re introduced to our three main characters Milly, Aubrey, and Jonah right off the bat. We learn that their parents were disinherited about 20 years ago but they don’t know why. So when a letter comes offering the cousins a job their parents send them in an effort to learn what went wrong and get inherited again. I liked that Milly and Aubrey hit it off and Jonah was somewhat uninterested in everything happening. Once they get to the island they meet there grandmother for a few minutes and it’s almost like she doesn’t want anything to do with them and didn’t even know they were coming. That’s when the wheels start turning and the cousins realize something is really wrong. Over the summer they learn secrets about their family and learn about things that happened 20 years ago that could have led to their grandmother cutting ties with their parents. I liked the vibes it was creepy and you could just tell that something wasn’t right about the whole arrangement. I love mysteries and I was invested in this one and learning about what happened. I will say when I got to the end my stomach dropped, it was a great ending but it was just crazy. I thought this was a good book and pretty on par with other books I’ve read by this author and I would recommend this book and her other ones.

Echo Ridge is small-town America. Ellery's never been there, but she's heard all about it. Her aunt went missing there at age seventeen. And only five years ago, a homecoming queen put the town on the map when she was killed. Now Ellery has to move there to live with a grandmother she barely knows.

The town is picture-perfect, but it's hiding secrets. And before school even begins for Ellery, someone has declared open season on homecoming, promising to make it as dangerous as it was five years ago. Then, almost as if to prove it, another girl goes missing.

Ellery knows all about secrets. Her mother has them; her grandmother does too. And the longer she's in Echo Ridge, the clearer it becomes that everyone there is hiding something. The thing is, secrets are dangerous--and most people aren't good at keeping them. Which is why in Echo Ridge, it's safest to keep your secrets to yourself.

Short and Sweet Review

Ellery and her twin brother Ezra have always heard about the town of Echo Ridge, because that’s the town their aunt went missing in. Now Ellery, is moving to a town she’s heard all about, to live with a grandmother she barely knows.

Five years ago, the homecoming queen was killed, putting Echo Ridge on the map. The town seems to have moved on but everyone has their secrets and someone seems to want to make a statement at this years homecoming and by pulling pranks but things get dark when a girl is kidnapped.

Ellery is into true crime so moving to Echo Ridge isn’t the worst thing she kind of wants to figure out what happened to her aunt it also doesn’t hurt that someone is targeting people who are being voted as homecoming queen. Malcolm is our other main character, he has it hard mainly because his older brother dated Lacey the homecoming queen who died five years ago and everyone thinks his brother did it. Anyway Malcolms mom remarried and now they live with Peter and his daughter Katrin, Katrin is popular and is voted as someone who could be homecoming queen and so is her friend Brooke. There’s a lot going on so follow me down the rabbit hole. There’s this like fair ground that the teens go to and that’s where Lacey was murdered and now that I’m writing that I’m not sure if that’s super important but still follow me. Anyway three people from Lacey’s class come back to town, and all seems a little shady. Moving on that little part is supposed to keep us guessing who could be the culprit but it’s weird because Ellery’s aunt went missing way before Lacey was even around. I digress. So someone is eventually kidnapped and Ellery our true crime queen tries and I mean tries and fails horribly to piece together the clues to find us our culprit and she blames everyone but the right person. Then we have Malcolm who is basically blamed by everyone in town which is pretty hysterical and its such a small town that the sheriff is like, “yeah lay low.” Basically not even doing a decent job.

The ending was unexpected I wasn’t sure who did it mainly because Ellery threw me off so much that I wasn’t even on the baseball field anymore I was out in the parking lot. I don’t even know what I didn’t like I was just unsatisfied in the end.

Come on, Bayview, you know you've missed this.

A ton of copycat gossip apps have popped up since Simon died, but in the year since the Bayview four were cleared of his shocking death, no one's been able to fill the gossip void quite like he could. The problem is no one has the facts.

Until now.

This time it's not an app, though—it's a game.

Truth or Dare.

Phoebe's the first target. If you choose not to play, it's a truth. And hers is dark.

Then comes Maeve and she should know better—always choose the dare.

But by the time Knox is about to be tagged, things have gotten dangerous. The dares have become deadly, and if Maeve learned anything from Bronwyn last year, it's that they can't count on the police for help. Or protection.

Simon's gone, but someone's determined to keep his legacy at Bayview High alive. And this time, there's a whole new set of rules.

Short and Sweet Review

After Simon’s death you would think things at Bayview would be okay, but a lot of copycat apps have popped up since then. Now someone has made a game, Truth or Dare. Phoebe, Knox, and Maeve are sent texts to play and so are a few of their classmates, and it’s always easier to choose dare, because the consequences of not playing is one of your secrets being revealed. Simon may be gone but someone wants to keep his legacy alive.

Phoebe is the first one targeted and unfortunately she chooses not to answer and one of her secrets is revealed to the entire school. I felt bad for Phoebe the amount of crap she got for it was awful. Phoebe’s home life is okay, things haven’t been the same since her father died and now it’s just Phoebe, her brother, sister, and mom. Things get tense between Phoebe and her sister Emma, and we can see the dynamic between the two is just awkward and you wouldn’t want to be in a room with them.

Maeve also choses not to reply and one of her secrets leak but it also affects her friend Knox. I really liked Maeve we saw her in the last book and I’m glad we got more of her. She’s a computer genius and I like how determined she was to find out who could be behind Truth or Dare. Maeve is also dealing with the possibility that her Leukemia might be back and she’s been keeping it a secret because she doesn’t want to go through all the treatments again. Maeve also has a little romance with Luis and I just thought it was so cute, I loved those two together.

Knox isn’t asked a Truth or Dare question but we do see that he was in the wrong place at the wrong time. Knox and Maeve are best friends but we see a little bit of a fallout after Maeve’s secret is revealed, but they do reconcile after they realize that their friendship is more important. Knox’s father also owns a construction company and that plays a big role in the book.

Someone at Bayview just made a new game with new rules. This is Truth or Dare to a new level. Phoebe is texted first but after not replying her secret is revealed and now people know this is the real deal. After what happened to Phoebe other students start to pick dare. Maeve is asked but she chooses not to reply and after her secret is revealed she tries to ignore the repercussions. One of the students decide to take the dare and that’s when things get ugly, he dies and that’s the same time Knox was in the wrong place. Knox, Phoebe, and Maeve know this is serious so they invest more time trying to figure out who could be behind Truth or Dare, by doing stakeouts, following people, and hacking computers. I did like that we saw characters from the last book, there was a lot of them because Addy’s sister was getting married so that was a subplot. I loved the ending I wasn’t sure who could have done it but once everything started getting revealed, I figured out who did it and what their motive was.

This book held my attention from the first page to the last. I love mysteries and One of Us is Next is better then One of Us is Lying. I just love how the stakes were raised and how Phoebe, Knox, and Maeve worked together. This book was hard to put down and it just makes me want to read another book by Karen M. McManus!

Everyone in Fairview knows the story.

Pretty and popular high school senior Andie Bell was murdered by her boyfriend, Sal Singh, who then killed himself. It was all anyone could talk about. And five years later, Pip sees how the tragedy still haunts her town.

But she can't shake the feeling that there was more to what happened that day. She knew Sal when she was a child, and he was always so kind to her. How could he possibly have been a killer?

Now a senior herself, Pip decides to reexamine the closed case for her final project, at first just to cast doubt on the original investigation. But soon she discovers a trail of dark secrets that might actually prove Sal innocent . . . and the line between past and present begins to blur. Someone in Fairview doesn't want Pip digging around for answers, and now her own life might be in danger.

This is the story of an investigation turned obsession, full of twists and turns and with an ending you'll never expect.

Short and Sweet

Five years ago in the town of Fairview, Andie Bell was murdered by her boyfriend, Sal Singh. The tragedy still haunts the town. Pippa decides that the facts of the case don’t make sense and she wants to reexamine it for her senior capstone project. The more Pip learns the more someone tries to keep her from progressing her detective work.

Characters

Pippa: Pip is the best main character ever! She’s so smart and she took a risk by taking on this project and she did a great job covering all of her bases. Pip is dedicated and I love seeing her thinking process, she was also a good friend and cared deeply for those around her.

Ravi: Ravi is Sal’s younger brother and unfortunately he’s had to deal with the towns wrath for the past five years. He obviously didn’t think his brother committed the crime, but when pip comes around he’s not sure if he really wants to relive everything. Ravi was smart and contributed to Pips case. I felt for Ravi, he had to deal with a lot in the past five years.

Romance

Pippa and Ravi: This was more of a working friendship that developed into something more, but the book was more focused on solving the case but you could tell that these two had feelings for each other. Maybe in the next book this romance will be explored more.

My Thoughts

~ So the theory is that Sal murdered Andie and then he killed himself but Pip is ready to disprove the theory that everyone has been running with for the past five years.

~ I liked seeing the entries of Pip’s capstone project it included her thoughts on the case, interviews, and evidence. It really added something to the book, Pip even made a murder map and a web with all of the suspects.

~ The relationship between Pip and Cara and Naomi was sweet they were basically like sisters, the scenes with them were nice to see it was a break from investigating sometimes.

~ My favorite scene was when Pip and her friends went to the calamity party, she was out of place and it was hilarious.

~ As Pip got closer to finding out the truth she starts receiving threats. I started worrying for her it got more dangerous and she was putting her life on the line.

~ The ending was crazy the twist had me on the edge of my seat and I could not put the book down I just had to finish it!

Overall

I love my mystery books and this one did not disappoint! Pip was so thorough in her investigation and I love how seriously she took everything. The mystery kept me guessing at who the culprit could have been and I was shocked in the end. I’m so excited to read the sequel when it comes out!

Slowly, Ivy realizes she's being pushed out of her own life. But she's just being paranoid, right? And Mom's accident was . . . just an accident. Right? It's not like she--or Dad--or Tyler--are in any danger. . . .

Short and Sweet Review

Ivy and Iris were split up after their parents divorced, Ivy lived with dad, and Iris lived with mom. When Their mom dies Iris goes to live with Ivy and her dad. Everything seems fine until it Ivy feels like Iris is trying to do everything she does and Iris may not have the best intentions. I am very conflicted, I was excited to read this book because of the synopsis but after reading the book my expectations just weren’t met. Ivy just seems like she’s paranoid when it comes to Iris and no one seems to think there’s anything wrong with Iris. I also thought Iris was extremely annoying everything would set her off, her mood swings were too much for me I didn’t enjoy her character at all. There was a lot wrong with Iris, I understand that everyone grieves differently but every time Ivy would bring up their mom Iris would shut down… She’s crazy. The whole time we’re left wondering if Iris really is trying to take Ivy’s place and why. There’s some weird things that happen. I thought this book was slow and I really had to push through to finish it but during the last 75% it started to pick up. I didn’t connect with any of the characters I felt like Ivy was one dimensional and that Iris’s dialogue was cringey. The Twin just fell short and I think it could have been better if the ending wasn’t rushed and left open ended.

Pay close attention and you might solve this.
On Monday afternoon, five students at Bayview High walk into detention.
Bronwyn, the brain, is Yale-bound and never breaks a rule.
Addy, the beauty, is the picture-perfect homecoming princess.
Nate, the criminal, is already on probation for dealing.
Cooper, the athlete, is the all-star baseball pitcher.
And Simon, the outcast, is the creator of Bayview High’s notorious gossip app.

Only, Simon never makes it out of that classroom. Before the end of detention Simon's dead. And according to investigators, his death wasn’t an accident. On Monday, he died. But on Tuesday, he’d planned to post juicy reveals about all four of his high-profile classmates, which makes all four of them suspects in his murder. Or are they the perfect patsies for a killer who’s still on the loose?

Everyone has secrets, right? What really matters is how far you would go to protect them.

Short and Sweet Review

Five students go into detention and only four of them come out alive. After Simon’s death, the four students who were in detention with him: Bronwyn, Nate, Addy, and Cooper become suspects. Simon was the creator of a gossip app and he was going to post about each of the four students before he died but he never got to it, now the four look like they have something to hide and a motive. Bronwyn is the brains she gets good grades and is on track to be valedictorian, Nate is actually on parole for selling drugs, Addy is the beauty queen, and Cooper is the star athlete. Each of them sounds like they’d have nothing to hide but Simon somehow knew secrets about them. I really enjoyed this book, I love mysteries. Every character knows each other from around school but the investigation brings them closer and eventually they start to work together to clear their names. I liked how they came together even though people started to call them the murder club, it was great how they put the clues together to figure out what actually happened to Simon that day in detention. There was also a little romance between Bronwyn and Nate which was really sweet because it was an unexpected romance but they were so good together and Bronwyn really cared about Nate and vice versa. It was great to see the evidence stack up against each of the character and see how they counteracted it, it was also interesting to see into their daily lives and how everyone around them was dealing with what was happening. The ending was great and I wasn’t expecting the culprit to be who it was and I’m excited to read the sequel to this book!

Annaleigh lives a sheltered life at Highmoor, a manor by the sea, with her sisters, their father, and stepmother. Once they were twelve, but loneliness fills the grand halls now that four of the girls' lives have been cut short. Each death was more tragic than the last--the plague, a plummeting fall, a drowning, a slippery plunge--and there are whispers throughout the surrounding villages that the family is cursed by the gods.

Disturbed by a series of ghostly visions, Annaleigh becomes increasingly suspicious that the deaths were no accidents. Her sisters have been sneaking out every night to attend glittering balls, dancing until dawn in silk gowns and shimmering slippers, and Annaleigh isn't sure whether to try to stop them or to join their forbidden trysts. Because who--or what--are they really dancing with?

When Annaleigh's involvement with a mysterious stranger who has secrets of his own intensifies, it's a race to unravel the darkness that has fallen over her family--before it claims her next.

Short and Sweet

Annaleigh lives at Highmoor a manor by the sea. Once it was filled with her 12 sisters but four of them have died and each death was more tragic than the last. When Annaleigh starts seeing the ghosts of her dead sisters, she starts to believe that their deaths weren’t accidents and something more suspicious is at play. The rest of Annaleigh’s sister sneak out at night to go balls and dance the night away, and Annaleigh doesn’t know whether to join them or stop them.

Characters

Annaleigh: Our main character. I really liked Annaleigh she was more cautious than her sisters and always suspected that something was off even while they were out having fun. She cared about her sisters and was always trying to keep them safe, all while trying to figure out if her other sisters were murdered or not.

Camille: Camille is the oldest Thaumas sister, and she’ll eventually inherit everything. Camille was more uptight about everything but she loved going to the balls and dancing. Annaleigh and Camille are close and I’m glad that when it came down to it Camille believed and trusted Annaleigh.

Fisher: Fisher is a friend from childhood who comes to visit and stay with the family. Fisher was a love interest for Annaleigh and he usually protected the sisters when they went into town.

Cassius: Cassius is someone Annaleigh meets while in town, and she tends to bump into him a lot. Cassius was mysterious and he did have a few secrets he was keeping so you never know if you can trust him or not.

Romance

Annaleigh and Fisher: Fisher is a childhood friend and there was a few moments when he would get jealous when Annaleigh would talk to Cassius. In the end I think Fisher was more of a brother figure in Annaleigh’s eyes than a romantic interest.

Annaleigh and Cassius: Cassius is mysterious and theres not much of a back story on him. He came to town to take care of his father who is sick and ends up meeting Annaleigh. I really liked these two together. Cassius would try to soothe Annaleigh, and helped her during a time when no one else would.

Quotes

~”Just push me into the sea and return me to the Salt.”

My Thoughts

~ The Thaumas twelve is now down to eight. Every surrounding village believes that there is a curse on the family and some people even avoid being around them.

~ The family usually mourns for six months but Morella, the girls stepmother believes that they should cut the mourning short to celebrate her pregnancy along with the triplets 16th birthday.

~ The book does start slow but things start to pick up around the 30% mark.

~ Annaleigh seemed to be the only sister that thought there was foul play in the deaths of her older sisters. But Annaleigh wasn’t the only one that could see the ghost of her dead sisters, her youngest sister Verity could see them too.

~ I liked the relationship between Annaleigh a Verity, Annaleigh always looked out for Verity and tried to make sure she was okay. Annaleigh also worried when Verity started sketching pictures of their dead sisters.

~ The visions of the ghosts Annaleigh would see were creepy. I was worried for Annaleigh that something may happen but she was fine.

~ I thought that Annaleigh looking for clues and following her gut feeling was great. She knew something wasn’t right and she kept going even when everyone doubted her.

~ The ending was perfect and everything was wrapped up well.

~ This is a retelling of The Twelve Dancing Princesses, which is a story about twelve sisters who go out dancing every night and their dance shoes become worn out. Their father who is perplexed at this offers anyone who can figure out what the girls are doing their pick at which girl they want to marry.

Overall

I thought this book was great. I liked that there was a little bit of mystery along with the fact that this is a fairytale retelling that had its own spin. This was a great debut novel and I would definitely recommend it to those looking for a retelling with a chilling spin to it!

Natasha: I’m a girl who believes in science and facts. Not fate. Not destiny. Or dreams that will never come true. I’m definitely not the kind of girl who meets a cute boy on a crowded New York City street and falls in love with him. Not when my family is twelve hours away from being deported to Jamaica. Falling in love with him won’t be my story.

Daniel: I’ve always been the good son, the good student, living up to my parents’ high expectations. Never the poet. Or the dreamer. But when I see her, I forget about all that. Something about Natasha makes me think that fate has something much more extraordinary in store—for both of us.

The Universe: Every moment in our lives has brought us to this single moment. A million futures lie before us. Which one will come true?

Short and Sweet Review

Natasha is just 12 hours away from being deported back to Jamaica with her family, and she’ll try to do anything she can to try to stop that from happening. Daniel is an aspiring poet but thats not what his parents want and he’s trying to live up to their high expectations. When they happen to meet on a crowded street in New York City Daniel thinks its fate, but Natasha is not a believer of fate or destiny and she doesn’t plan on falling in love. Well there’s a lot that goes on in this book Natasha is trying to find a way to stay in America and Daniel is on his way to a meeting with someone from Yale, and they just happen to meet and then they meet again. There’s a lot of coincidences in this book and it just felt like too much (if that makes sense). Our main point of view is from Daniel and Natasha but we also get some POVs from people they meet along the way which was interesting. My main problem with this book was I just didn’t connect with the characters, Daniel just seemed to like fate to lead the way while Natasha was more science based and realistic. I don’t really think the instalove thing worked out because they didn’t really know each other and the book takes place within one day in a few hours. The romance just didn’t work out. I did like seeing their families though Natasha’s is dealing with leaving and the thing is America is Natasha’s home its where she’s built her life, while Daniel has immigrant parents who are just trying to give him and his brother a better life than they had. In the end I thought the book was just okay it wasn’t my favorite I didn’t think it was that realistic and the characters weren’t ones that I connected with, I didn’t like their dialogue. I thought the plot was interesting and I liked the mini adventure around New York but thats about it.

But when life outside the train catches up to them, can they find a way to keep their feelings for each other from getting derailed?

Short and Sweet

Hugo and his girlfriend Margaret are planning to go on a train trip across the United States, but then Margaret breaks up with Hugo and though she encourages him to go on the trip without her, everything is in her name and the tickets are nontransferable. Now Hugo needs to find a replacement Margaret Campbell to go on this trip. Mae which is short for Margaret is an aspiring film maker and after her latest film didn’t impress and seeing that Hugo has a spare ticket decides to join him in hopes that a train trip is just what she needs to expand her horizons.

Characters

Hugo: Hugo is actually kind of famous in his town of Surrey for being a sextuplet. Hugo and his siblings are super close and I thought it was sweet I liked how close their family was. But thats kind of the problem for Hugo, him and his siblings are looked at as a unit and not as individual people which is why Hugo needs to go on this trip he just wants to figure out what life would be like on his own. Hugo is so sweet and kind, but he also has a reputation to forget things and get lost but nonetheless he’s still cute and his dialogue made me smile.

Mae: Mae is an aspiring film maker and her latest film didn’t impress those at USC so she got rejected from the film school but she’s not giving up so easily. When Mae sees Hugo’s online ad for another Margaret Campbell she takes it because who knows maybe her next greatest film will take place on the train. Mae is very dedicated to craft and I liked seeing how she formed an idea for her new film and how it eventually turned into something more personal for her. Mae and her Dads and her Nana also have a sweet relationship.

Romance

Hugo and Mae: Well they were complete strangers going on a trip across the United States and they hit it off well. They had chemistry, a week traveling together and getting to know each other it was bound to happen and I loved it. They really got to know each other and more about each others lives at home and their dreams and what they really wanted in life. It was just magical how everything took place, they wanted for each other to succeed and to be able to live out their dreams and encouraged each other and they just met!

My Thoughts

~ I thought the characters were great and I loved seeing who Hugo and Mae would meet during their travels. They interviewed some interesting people on the different trains, they all had great stories to tell.

~ I love books that include travel I like seeing where the characters will go and what they’ll find during their travels.

~ This is Hugo’s first time away from his siblings and of course he misses them but this is something he needs, he wants to be his own person and explore. I like how support his family is and how they let him do what he needs so that in the end he’ll be happy.

~ Mae learns how to make her work more personal on this trip, it was the one thing she was missing in the film she sent to USC. I liked seeing her come up with the idea for the new film on the train and how everything takes shape.

~ Hugo and Mae bring out the best in each other, he encouraged her to dig deeper when it comes to her work and she helped him believe he should try to be his own person because he deserves it.

Overall

I thought this book was, cute, funny, and everything I needed in a romance. The characters were great and I loved learning more about them. The book is short and easy to read, I really liked the writing style and I plan on reading more of Smith’s books. Definitely check this book out!
