Brady Karlin is getting on with his life. The memory of his girlfriend—killed in a gruesome sledding accident last year—is beginning to fade. Now he’s met Rosha Nelson, the girl of his dreams. And he’s never been happier.

Until Brady starts to see a strange figure with a terribly scarred face following him everywhere. And horrible accidents start happening every time Rosha’s around.

Has dating Rosha made Brady’s dreams come true? Or brought his worst nightmares to life?

Short and Sweet Review

Brady is getting over the death of his last girlfriend. She died in a sledding accident that was pretty gruesome. Now Brady is dating Allie and things are going well. Brady ends up seeing this girl Rosha and he’s instantly attracted to her, so much so that he’s willing to do whatever she wants. No one has any idea who Rosha is and Brady thinks that’s a little strange but he brushes it off because his brain isn’t doing the thinking here. Whenever Brady and Rosha hang out Brady sees someone with a disfigured face and they usually warn him to stay away from Rosha.

This is another Fear Street book that is a miss, like we’re not even hitting the target here. Brady is a horrible character and you can tell he likes to convince people to do things that they aren’t really comfortable with and he got a taste of his own medicine because Rosha was a female version of him. I didn’t like how he was stepping out on Allie and trying to keep up appearances. Honestly, everything that happened to Brady in this book he 100% deserved.

Overall, I didn’t enjoy this book at all. I still have a few more Fear Street books to go so we’ll see how that goes.
