What if your true love could write to you from the future?

Seventeen-year-old Emma Nakamura-Thatcher doesn’t believe in love, not after her parents’ bitter divorce. So when she attends the festival of Tanabata, her wish is simple: proof that love is real and can last.

Emma thinks little of her wish. . . . until she finds a note from someone claiming to be her greatest love writing to her from the future. It has to be a prank, right? But as the notes pour in, each revealing secrets only she knows, Emma is forced to accept the impossible: This is really happening. Someone is actually reaching out to her from across time.

But who? Ezra, the musical prodigy who makes her pulse race? Theo, the literal boy next door who’s known her since childhood? Or Colin, the overly confident, overly handsome, overly rich kid she meets while cleaning his mega-mansion?

As Emma races to uncover the identity of the letter writer, she’ll discover that love is more than real—it’s the most powerful force in the universe. And it’s been waiting for her all along.

Short and Sweet Review

Emma doesn’t believe in love especially after her parents divorce. When Emma visits the Tanabata festival she makes a wish to prove that love is real and that it can last. Emma begins to receive letters from her greatest love and the letters are from the future. Emma thinks she’s being pranked but whoever is writing the letters knows a lot about her. Emma doesn’t know who’s writing the letters but she’s determined to figure it out and maybe experience love for herself during this journey.

Love Me Tomorrow is a cute romance novel. We follow our main charcter Emma who has a hard time believing in love after seeing how her parents marriage ended. When she makes a wish to be showed true love and begins to receive notes from her love from the future she believes it’s a prank. The more letters she receives the more she decides to give in and try to figure out who it could actually be. We have Ezra her mentor for a Violin program, Colin who is a rich kid Emma meets while cleaning his mansion, and Theo the boy next door who is also Emma’s best friend. Not only do we get to see Emma’s prospective love interests but we get more of an insight into her life. Emma lives with her mom and grandpa, she feels a determination to help her mom make ends meet which is why she starts taking on more jobs cleaning houses when her mom can’t do it, and she takes care of her grandpa. We also see Emmas dad who is in a new relationship and we see how Emma navigates that. I enjoyed seeing Emma with each of the different guys and trying to figure out which one of them could have been writing her the letters. In the end we see Emma follow her heart and not dictating her happiness based off of who could be writing the letters. I had a guess on who could be writing the letters and that who thing took me on an up and down roller coaster. I did like the ending and it was nice to see Emma realize that she didn’t have to tackle everything on her own and that she did have a support system, I also liked seeing her realize that love does exist and she can take a chance.

Overall, this was a super cute book and I enjoyed seeing Emma’s journey from beginning to end. I would recommend this book to anyone looking for a romance book and this book is being released right before Valentines Day, which is perfect timing.
