Amy Love, a high school junior, plays a Ouija board with friends one night and unintentionally connects with someone whose, well, not visible to the naked eye. When her body’s taken over and her soul is stuck watching helplessly—she’s terrified. When the zombie guzzles bologna that she will have to work off at the gym—she’s angry. And, when her zombied body pulls up a news article on her laptop about a boy named Jonathan Miller who was recently in a car crash—she’s . . . intrigued. When the zombie chooses another host, Amy learns that the zombie is actually teen Jonathan Miller, son of the famous Maisy's Meow comic creator Jacob Miller. Jonathan tells Amy he doesn’t know whether he’s dead or alive, only that when he’s not in a body, she is the only one who seems to know he exists. Amy decides to help Jonathan discover what happened to him and, when they can’t find his body, they try to find a substitute—preferably one that isn’t occupied. On the journey, Jonathan leads Amy into all kinds of danger. To her surprise, he also leads her heart to somewhere unexpected. She’s always heard of love at first sight, not love at first fright, but how can Amy be falling for a boy she’s never even seen?

Amy and her friends play with a Ouija board and weird things start to happen to Amy, like pencils moving, and feeling like someone is watching her. When Amy’s body is taken over by a ghost she tries to figure out what it wants. The ghost pulls up an article about a boy named Jonathan Miller, Amy is interested and decides to help Jonathan find his body.  However, when Amy and Jonathan can’t find his body they end up on an adventure to find one that he can use. I loved See Me it’s a Must Read. It was a short and captivating read. Once I really got into it I couldn’t stop reading it. I fell in love with Amy and Jonathan especially how their connection grew during their journey of trying to find Jonathan a body. I also liked Amy’s friends even though they didn’t believe Amy at first they stuck by her side and helped her. The ending was AMAZING! See Me is a book I would read again I would recommend this book!

No-one performs on the circus trapeze like 16-year-old Remy Brunel. But Remy also leads another life, prowling through the backstreets of Victorian London as a jewel thief. When she is forced to steal one of the world's most valuable diamonds, she uncovers a world of treachery and fiendish plots.

Remy is a trapeze artist by day and jewel thief by night. Remy is sent by her boss to steal a diamond from the Tower of London. But someone else is already there trying to take the diamond for himself. While trying to hurry, she accidentally swipes a copy of the diamond from the coat of a detective. The detective, Thaddeus Rec, is accused of stealing the diamond for himself. Thad ends up losing his job over this. Remy and Thad team up to find the real culprit, to clear Thad’s name. The Diamond Thief is a fun and enjoyable book. I loved the premise and the characters. I would read the sequel.

There are gods among us... Six young gods are hiding in plain sight among mortals, living secretly in cities across the world. From lavish penthouse soirees to pulsing underground clubs, for them, the party literally never ends. Until now. On a hot June morning, the body of a beautiful girl is found floating in the rooftop pool of the Jefferson Hotel, her white-ink tattoos revealing the story of a life much longer than seems possible. Only the immortals know the truth: Nadia was the goddess of hope. Now she’s gone, and the world as they know it is ending. The Hudson River has turned blood red. Storms rage overhead. Mania is rapidly spreading across the globe. It is up to the remaining gods—Lola, Dean, Weston, Mark, Nike and Peitha—to put aside centuries of betrayal and heartbreak, and stop the mysterious source of darkness that is taking over… before the sun sets forever.

I loved this book! This book has six points of views, one from each of the Gods. It wasn’t confusing at all.  It helped to know everyone’s perspective on what was happening. The book revolves around six main characters which includes Lola, Dean, Mark, Weston, Nike and Peitha who are all Gods. Most of them live in New York City among the mortals. When a girl is found dead in a roof top pool at a hotel all chaos breaks out.

The Gods and the City are faced with plagues that are taking over that they believe to be the chain reaction of the girl’s death. They soon figure out it is Nadia the Goddess of Hope. The Gods deal with a lot of conflict, love and tension once they find Nadia dead. Nadia was the last descendant of hope, without her they don’t know what will happen. However, they have to try and stop the world from going into eternal darkness by the demons they now face. This book has a lot of action and romance. There were a lot of dramatic twists and turns of events. The ending came as a surprise that I was not expecting. Over all, I thought the book was great and I would recommend it to anyone who likes to read about mythology and fantasy.

From New York Times bestselling author Sophie Jordan, Uninvited is a chilling and suspenseful story about a girl whose DNA brands her as a killer, perfect for fans of The Unbecoming of Mara Dyer and Confessions of a Murder Suspect.Davy had everything—a terrific boyfriend, the homecoming crown, a bright future at Juilliard—but when her genetic tests come back positive for Homicidal Tendency Syndrome, she loses it all. Uninvited from her prestigious school and avoided by her friends and family, she is placed in a special class with other

I had the honor of receiving an ARC of Ms. Jordan’s upcoming novel UNINVITED at Authors After Dark. I have been so busy I didn’t have the chance to read it until Christmas Eve. I finished it within 24 hours because WOW it is so fantastic! Sophie Jordan has an award winning book on her hands. UNINVITED hits shelves in January and you do not want to miss out! UNINVITED’S tagline is “They Say She’s A Killer, One Day She Will Be.” This is one great tagline. It creates the perfect amount of intrigue. While reading UNINVITED you will ask yourself a bunch of questions about how we define ourselves and how far we will go to survive?! UNINVITED is beautifully written by Ms. Jordan’s brilliant pen. UNINVITED is by far the best young adult novel I have read this year. It gave me exciting chills the likes of which I haven’t had since I read, The Hunger Games.

UNINVITED gives the reader a feast filled with heady topics, chilling suspense and a one-of-a-kind romance. I fully expect the characters, Davina “Davy” Hamilton and Sean O’Rourke to become the next “YA It Couple!” One of the many things that make this a wonderful novel is the fact that there is no angst-ridden love triangle like most YA novels. Davy Hamilton is one smart and savvy teenager. Unfortunately, her world gets turned upside down in an instant and she is forced to learn a new way of living. Sean O’Rourke is a no-nonsense type of guy who has worked for everything he has. Sparks fly when these two are on the page together. I absolutely love them! I’m actually thinking about reading it again because it went by too fast! UNINVITED took my breath away with its invigorating five-star romance! Sophie Jordan rocked my world with UNINVITED! I cannot wait to find out what happens next!!

Xoxo,

Miranda
