Sixteen-year-old Avery West's newfound family can shut down Prada at the Champs-Elysees when they want to shop in peace, and can just as easily order a bombing when they want to start a war. They are part of a powerful and dangerous secret society called the Circle of Twelve, and Avery is their missing heir. If they discover who she is, some of them will want to use her as a pawn. Some will want her dead.
To thwart their plans, Avery must follow a trail of clues from the monuments of Paris to the back alleys of Istanbul and through a web of ancient legends and lies. And unless she can stay one step ahead of beautiful, volatile Stellan, who knows she’s more than she seems, and can decide whether to trust mysterious, magnetic Jack, she may be doomed after all.

Avery West is sixteen and lives on a constant moving schedule. Every few months her and her mom pack up the house and hit the road to a new location. Avery’s mom’s job makes them move a lot and Avery has come to except that she will never be able to “settle down” and make friends or memories in the places she stays. They move so often they’ve stopped unpacking everything.

Jack is the new kid. Avery thinks he is mysterious and cute, like most of the girls at her school, but knows from past experience that she can’t have feelings for anyone because eventually she’ll be on the move again. Stellan a complete stranger shows up one day and “fights” over Avery. With her in the middle of two boys she is unbelievably confused. She learns of a family she has never known and a secret society that seems only conspiracy theorists would believe. A day after her meet and greet with stranger Stellan, Avery is off on a wild chase with a single piece of paper and hopefully the right destination to continue on a treasure hunt she finds impossible.

This book was fast paced and kept me on the edge of my seat. It involved a secret world order that was trying to uncover Alexander the Great and the secrets he took to his tomb. And there’s an ancient society trying to keep Alexander’s secrets. Clues with a kind of scavenger hunt. Bad guys with guns and knives. I definitely enjoyed this book and can’t wait until the sequel is released.

In the YA thriller The Third Twin, identical twins Lexi and Ava invent a fictional triplet they call Alicia. Unlike Lexi's relentless pursuit of academic perfection and her sister's pursuit of a good time, 'Alicia' is beautiful, smart, confident and the girl everyone wants to date. The twin's ruse is perfect until one night when the boy 'Alicia' is dating is found brutally murdered—and all evidence points to her. As Lexi frantically tries to unravel the mystery surrounding his death, the bodies of 'Alicia's' boyfriends start to multiply and it becomes a race to outwit the police as well as find the identity of the true killer before it's too late. After witnessing the aftermath of yet another murder, Lexi can no longer deny that all signs point to her sister's guilt. Enlisting the help of her old friend Zane, Lexi formulates a plan to catch the killer and clear her name, but planning gives way to disbelief as she discovers that in so many cases, people aren't always who they seem.

The Third Twin is a murder mystery and a high-intensity thriller about identical twin sisters, Alexa and Ava, who play with fire by pretending to have a third sister, Alicia.  Alicia is fun, beautiful, fashionable and extremely popular with boys. She goes on dates, gets invited to all the hot parties and is simply the coolest sister out of the three. The only problem is, Alicia doesn’t really exist. She’s made up. It’s always Ava and Alexa pretending to be Alicia, taking turns going on dates and fooling around with boys. When Alicia’s boyfriends start dropping dead and the cops come knocking on the door, looking for the third sister who doesn’t exist, the girls find themselves in a whole lot of trouble. Someone’s out to get them, will they find out who before it’s too late?-=

This is a plot-driven story. The characters are interesting enough to keep the readers engaged and captivated, but they’re not particularly memorable. I did, however, want to find out what in the world was going on. The mystery aspect of the story was supreme and executed nicely. I couldn’t tell who the evil culprit was. I had tons of theories and I suspected everyone. Well, almost everyone, because I was honestly surprised to find out who was behind the murders. The ending was very twisty and gasp-worthy. I was so sure I had it all figured out, but was taken aback by the final reveal. Omololu did a great job keeping the suspense going and she really managed to surprise me at the end. This book was extremely entertaining: fun, fast-paced and easy to read. I would recommend this book to anyone who likes mysteries/thrillers.

One promise changed her life. One confession could end it.
There was blood on his hands. Where was the guilt in his eyes?
Emmie's had a crush on her best friend's brother forever. Deacon is the town bad boy who's always in trouble, but she sees his soft side when he volunteers with her at the local animal shelter. She doesn't think he's dangerous…until he shows up in her bedroom with blood on his hands. Deacon's father has been violently assaulted and Deacon is suspect number one. Emmie's smart enough to know how this looks, but she also knows Deacon's biggest secret—he's paralyzed by the sight of blood. She's sure he didn't do this. Or did he? Because even Deacon's own sister thinks he's guilty…

Well to be honest I wasn’t sure if I wanted to read this book because I didn’t enjoy Gone too Far by Natalie D. Richards but the premise of the book intrigued me so I decided to give it a shot. I can defiantly say I liked this book more than I thought I would.  It took me a while to get into it, like halfway through the book. I wasn’t the biggest fan of Emmie she was bossy, whiny, and indecisive. She just kept changing her mind, “Is Deacon guilty or not? Should I help him or not?” things like that.  If I was in this book and my friend was in this situation I would trust them because they’re my FRIEND! What are friends for right??? I liked the whole whodunit aspect because when I found out who it was I was pretty shocked.  Emmie’s parents also got on my nerves.  They were smothering her so much that even I could feel it. I think the first half of this book was pretty slow at least for me but it started picking up towards the end. What’s really funny to me is the fact that the ending was like a game of clue “I think you did it because you’re just really suspicious to me.” Anyway the other characters were sub par, I was over them. Get some better friends would be my advice haha. In the end I would say this book was good enough that I’d read Six Months Later by Natalie D. Richards. I’d recommend this book to anyone who likes mysteries and if you’ve read other books by this author.

They could be hunting you.
Hunted. Kidnapped. Bled. Someone is snatching girls and draining them for a secret that's in their blood. A hormone that makes them stronger, faster, smarter. A hormone that the makers of a new drug called Destiny will murder to get their hands on. These girls could be anyone. They could be anywhere.

They could be you.

When Skylar discovers she's a Greater-Than, a girl with terrifying power, her life will never be the same. The only way to stay alive is to join the fight against Destiny and become the ultimate weapon.

HOLY CRAP! In Night Sky the Brockmann Mother/Daughter team give readers a taste of excellent writing paired with genius storytelling! I am absolutely in L-O-V-E with Sky, Milo, Dana and Cal! I MUST know what happens next!!! I admit I’m obsessed with all things paranormal, scifi, urban fantasy and I get it all in Night Sky! There always comes a certain point in a book when you know you are falling in love with the characters, getting so attached you know eventually your heart will probably be smashed to smithereens and patched back together…eventually! I knew Night Sky was going to be one of my favorites within the first chapter, YES it’s that good!

First things first, the characters just plain rock! Skylar is the new girl living among Florida’s elite upper crust. She’s a little awkward and deep in the dark about her “greater-than” status. This means she has special abilities like telekinesis and can run superfast. However, she has no idea what is going on or how she is doing these things and more importantly she’s concerned she is going insane! Thankfully she has her new BFF Cal to keep her calm and laughing! Calvin “Cal” for short brings the humor to Night Sky! I adore Cal, his wheelchair and his ongoing game of “would you rather…” Then we have Motorcycle Girl, Dana, a greater-than with killer skills and awesome sarcastic wit. She is the perfect mentor for Sky. Milo is Dana’s brooding best friend. He is sweet, handsome and yes ladies he has a special connection to Sky that will almost certainly make you swoon! But you know how it goes the road is not smooth sailing for these two! Lastly, we have Skylar’s mom who is a bit annoying at times however I can’t help but like her and the adorable Sasha, who I want to give a big squeeze!

The main Arc of Night Sky revolves around Sasha. She is kidnapped in the middle of the night from her bedroom. Sky is heartbroken and determined to help find the little girl. This plot gives the reader a chance to learn so much about Sky and her friends and we get to go on a sensational journey with them. This fast-paced thriller keeps things moving through the climactic finish! NOW, I’m ready to devour my lovely ARC of the next book in the series WILD SKY! WooHoo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Night Sky is an EPIC Read!! I give it SIX huge Wonderland Hearts!

In this pulse-pounding prequel to the Night Sky series by New York Times and USA Today bestselling author Suzanne Brockmann and her daughter Melanie Brockmann, Skylar has her first brush with Destiny. She's about to meet a boy who will change her life—and a girl who wants to end it.

I know her.
Know her from inside the dreams. Inside those terrible, murderous, bloody dreams. I've heard her-screaming, her voice mixing in an awful chorus with all those other girls. Little girls.
Please, God.
That's what one of the little girls keeps saying, in the dream that is not just a dream. Please, God.
But I know better. There's no escaping this fate. This is destiny.
I must kill Skylar.

Skylar Reid is the new girl at school. Her mom just moved them to Florida—aka The Land of the Living Dead where the average age of her new neighbors was seventy-five—to start over. Skylar is not a fan of the change or her total lack of friends. Until she meets Calvin, a funny, sarcastic boy who doesn't let being in a wheelchair stop him from verbally shredding their preppy classmates. Skylar's just about to decide her new school's not a total loss when an odd girl wearing an oversized trench coat in the murderous Southern heat declares, "You're one of us." And then tries to kill her.

Don't miss out on YA's most thrilling new series.

Dangerous Destiny is a prequel to the Brockmann’s first book in their young adult series, Night SkyDangerous Destiny takes us into the life of Skylar Reid.  Skylar and her mother have just moved to Coconut Key, Florida.  Sky is not happy about the move one bit but it’s obvious this tough cookie can roll with the punches.  This turns out to be a good thing since her first few days of school end in gun fire.

Dangerous Destiny is so exciting your heart will pound out of your chest!  I love when I become so absorbed in a book that I forget the page numbers as I plunge from one to the next so fast!  The only bad thing is the book is over way too soon! I swear I screamed “Nooooooooo” when I found myself shockingly on the final page of Dangerous Destiny!  I immediately let my fingers take me to Amazon and ordered the first book in the series, Night Sky!

Dangerous Destiny is almost perfect! I give it Four Wonderland Hearts!

Celina O’Malley was just sixteen years old when she disappeared. Now, almost forty years later, Bayley is sleeping in Celina’s room, wearing her clothes, hearing her voice. What does Celina want? And who will suffer because of it?

Bayley is haunted by the ghost of Celina O’Malley, a young girl who vanished 40 years before.  But now Celina is  back, and she wants revenge for her unsolved murder. Nothing and no one could stop Celina from getting revenge, even if it means risking Bayley’s life in the process.  I enjoyed the suspense, thrill, and the plot. I liked Bayley’s character she was easy to relate to. I also liked her relationship with Oliver. It took me a while to get into the book and when I did I couldn’t put it down. I’d recommend this book to my friends.
